Laying and Grouting

Essentially, the same criteria apply to VILLI glass tiles as to ceramic tiles. A joint width of 2 mm is recommended for all VILLI products. It is important that only adhesives and joint sealers be used that are recommended by VILLI. Also, the guidelines of the manufacturers of adhesives must be observed.

The joints of VILLI glass tiles and mosaics should not be filled in until 24 hours after they have been glued down. Please also note the instructions of the manufacturers of joint sealers. We recommend that you fill in the joints in an area of approx. 5 square meters at the same time. You should not start cleaning them until 20 to 25 minutes after applying the joint sealer.
